Dramatic denouement on the stage of the Tour of Burgos
The second stage of the Spanish Tour of Burgos bicycle race was a dramatic one. Jumbo Visma were leading the peloton, working for their team sprinter David Dekker.In the last kilometer of the race, Dekker fell and caused a pileup that blocked out his fellow racers from view.
As a result, Visma Jumbo’s Timo Roosen and Edward Affini took 1st and 2nd place, while many riders from other teams were left with injuries.
